The Mission
The purpose of the Parents' Association is to offer support and assistance to Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education in its purpose to train dancers. Members of the Parents Association are the parents of students enrolled in the Centre. At the time a child is enrolled in the Centre, the parent automatically becomes a member of this association. Scheduled meetings will be posted in the lobby of all studios. The Association is a great way to meet other parents, find carpools, and feel part of Atlanta Ballet. Parents of students at all dance levels are invited, and we are open to hearing any suggestions you might have. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
The Parents Association, through its volunteer efforts, donates over $50,000 per year to the support the mission of Atlanta Ballet. For information, contact Kelly Tonina Cooper at 404.873.5811 x 1225 or kcooper@atlantaballet.com.
It is not the mission of the Parents' Association to address questions or concerns about curriculum, placement, or policies of Atlanta Ballet or Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education. All such questions and discussions should be directed to Dean Sharon Story at sstory@atlantaballet.com.
