As the weather warms up, Blooper, beloved mascot of the Atlanta Braves, decided to step out of his comfort zone and onto the dance floor.

Blooper brought his signature enthusiasm to the barre, proving that even a giant fuzzy mascot can find his inner ballerina.

While his dégagés may need a bit more practice, Blooper's dedication was undeniable.

He even had a memorable encounter with the indelible, charmingly rotten, Mouse King from Atlanta Ballet's cherished production of The Nutcracker.

And the old King proved to still be quite light on his feet!

The favor was, of course, returned when the Mouse King made a special appearance at an Atlanta Braves game. Trading the magical world of The Nutcracker for the roaring energy of Truist Park, the Mouse King bravely battled Blooper in thrilling sword-to-baseball-bat combat.

The battle ended in a draw, but that didn't stop these two! Blooper and the Mouse King immediately teamed up to hype the #BravesNation, who then celebrated a victory against the LA Dodgers later that day. Surely with a little Atlanta Ballet luck on their side.

Adding to the excitement, and celebrating the upcoming 2025 MLB All-Star Game, Atlanta Ballet also hosted a scavenger hunt at Cobb Energy Centre for ten packs of signed cards from their company dancers during the season finale Catch Tuplet.

It was a smash hit, and each participant received a commemorative set of baseball cards featuring five of Atlanta Ballet’s company dancers.
