Press Alert: Atlanta Ballet’s Wabi Sabi at the Lancaster Music Festival
This summer, Atlanta Ballet's Wabi Sabi went beyond Atlanta to present four works, including John Heginbotham’s world premiere of Angels’ Share at the Lancaster Music Festival on July 22, 2014 in Lancaster, Ohio. The dancers performed to live music from the Generations Trio and the Lancaster Festival Orchestra led by Lancaster Music Festival Artistic Director and Atlanta Ballet Principal Guest Conductor, Gary Sheldon. Lancaster was just as excited to see Wabi Sabi as all Atlantans are each summer. After a week in the mid-west, Wabi Sabi members will return to Georgia for a week-long residency in Sautee Nacoochee that culminates with a performance at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Center on August 2, 2014, followed by a series of shows around Atlanta. Mark your calendars now with all of the upcoming performances.
