Executive Director Update: Tune in for the Live Broadcast of Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall

Carmina Burana Opens Carnegie Hall 2012 Season

It doesn't get much better than this! WABE will broadcast live, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM ET, the opening of the Carnegie Hall 2012 Season with Riccardo Muti conducting the Chicago Symphony in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. This is one of the world’s finest orchestras conducted by, arguably, one of the greatest maestros of our generation, in some of the most moving and powerful music in the classical repertoire.

Listen to what will be a most memorable live broadcast experience tomorrow evening, and then come to Atlanta Ballet April 12-14, 2013 to see the North American premiere of the quintessential ballet production of this great work in the world of dance. David Bintley, Artistic Director of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, has created an exquisite version of this ballet favorite. Atlanta Ballet will perform David Bintley’s Carmina Burana with the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra and Georgia State University Singers. So don’t miss tomorrow night’s broadcast and Atlanta Ballet’s live performance in April.
